Meet Luna: Luna is a 3-year-old mixed-breed dog who came to us in early 2025. She is a special girl with a big personality and a heart full of love. Luna has a chicken allergy, so she needs a strict no-chicken diet to help her feel her best. She also has a medical condition that will need an adopter with a little extra experience and confidence to help manage her care. Because of her needs, it is recommended that Luna be the only dog in the home. Luna would do best in a home with adults only, where her routines and care can be kept calm and consistent. When she’s not relaxing, Luna loves to have fun—especially when water is involved! She enjoys splashing around and playing with toys, and water bottles are her absolute favorite. Luna is looking for a patient, understanding home that can meet her special needs and appreciate her playful spirit. With the right person, Luna will be a loyal, loving companion who brings joy in her own unique way.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit the ranch. Our website adoptions page has all of our availalbe dogs and our adoption application at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. You are welcomed to come to the ranch seven days a week or you can make an appointment with our adoption desk. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
