My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet LEWIS!!

He is an absolute star at POSO - If you need proof head over to our instragam and see the reels on him @poso_dog_rescue

Lewis came into our rescue looking very sad, missing almost all his fur and underweight plus very shy. With medical treatment and foster care he is now looking and acting like a more normal dog

Lewis will need another playful friendly and confident dog in the home so he can continue to come out of his shell. He is great with play, sharing and just lounging around other dogs

**He is amazing in his crate and sleeps through the night
**House training as long as you are on top of it
**Walks well on leash (would prefer a more quiet neighborhood)
**Medium energy level so needs an active home

ALL POSO DOGS COME WITH:
- TWO FREE ONE ON ONE DOG TRAINING SESSIONS
- UP TO DATE ON SHOTS
- SPAYED/NEUTERED
- BLOODWORK/TICK DISEASE TESTING
- DEWORMED/FECAL TESTING
- WELLNESS CHECKS
- LEASH, COLLAR, FOOD TO GET STARTED, TREATS AND TOYS IF THEY LIKE THEM
- FI COLLAR SUBSCRIPTION
- COUPONS TO LOCAL PET STORES

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
