This handsome gentleman is named simply as Dude, and he is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet! Don't believe us? Come meet him and see for yourself! Mr. Dude came to the shelter with ID on 2/18 because he became lost on a great adventure. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. Now Dude is waiting to meet the new forever family he can give all of his love and adoration to. Dude is just 10 years old and weighs approx. 58lbs - perfect size for a dog his size, but trust us, it's all love! He'll make the perfect snuggle companion. He is so quiet in his kennel. You would never know he was there. The volunteers describe him as super sweet, cute, nice looking, and treat motivated. This golden boy doesn't deserve to be in this loud shelter. If you would just give him a chance to decompress outside the shelter, he will open to you so much more. You just have to give him the patience he deserves. Patience is the key to a successful pet and pet parent relationship folks. It is as simple as that. Period. He a smart cookie as he knows commands of sit when asked and he may know more. He takes treats so gently. He enjoys smelling everything he can outside! Mr. Dude has so much life left to live and is wanting so much to be apart of a family again. Especially in his golden years. Will you give him a chance to continue the rest of his life in a loving home and loving, committed family. We want our golden boy live his life to the fullest. We are just hoping you are the one to give him that chance.

Dude is up-to-date on his vaccines, has tested negative for heartworms, already neutered and microchipped. He'll be patiently and happily waiting to meet his new family in Kennel 854, ID# 8213. He is more than ready to come home to you!
