Meet Poppy, the embodiment of youthful exuberance. She's a bundle of joy, her spirit infectious. Poppy's sweetness is a balm to the soul, her friendliness a testament to her love for companionship. She's smart, quick to learn new tricks, and playful, always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. Her energy is boundless, a testament to her zest for life. Happiness is her default state, her tail a constant metronome of joy. Poppy's intelligence, playfulness, and affectionate nature make her an ideal companion. Imagine coming home to her wagging tail, the embodiment of unconditional love. Picture your weekends filled with laughter, play, and an abundance of happiness. Poppy loves to play with the other dogs and her foster home. She enjoys the young two legged humans but, due to her exuberance, she would do best with older kids. Poppy is learning a thing or two from the confident, dog savvy house cat however, a less confident cat could be viewed as prey.
Unfortunately, she tested positive for heartworms at her vet visit. She has already started her treatment. Don’t let that prevent you from adopting this beautiful girl. If you feel this is the dog for you, you can bring her home, see her through heartworm treatment, and the rescue will pay the vet bill.
