Sign Adoption Contract

After 24-48 hours, you can sign the contract, pay the fee and take your new friend home!

Additional adoption info

All family members are required to be present in order to adopt an animal. You must be 21 years old or older to adopt. Applications must be completed and approved prior to adopting an animal. If approved, an applicant must sign a contract to adopt an animal which outlines the responsibilities of the shelter and the adopter. A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter is located in Naperville, IL. We are a private, no kill, non profit organization that provides temporary shelter and care to dogs and cats in search of their forever home. We were founded in 1989 and, to date, have found homes for over 20,000 pets! Our objective is to place animals into permanent, caring homes and advance the humane treatment of animals through education.
