My story

DOB: January 31st 2020

Bubba has a perpetually sad face and finds it difficult to trust humans. But with a little extra patience he becomes an absolute snuggle bug, making sure to wake you up with good morning kisses and say goodnight with evening headbutts. He does enjoy being picked up but he prefers to have his own space at times. Especially after doing his daily zoomies. He loves soft plushy toys and rubber toys best, and loves to chase balls when thrown.

Bubba takes some time to open up to people but once he’s settled and feeling safe, his goofiness really comes out! He’s quite communicative and will tell you what he’s feeling. Especially when he’s happy. You’ll find him trilling and flopping around. He is quite territorial around his food and gets upset when the bowls are taken away for refills, but settles down once they’re returned. Bubba also loves treat tubes and will happily sit on your lap to eat them.

Bubba has had a hard time adjusting to love, but he wants love and safety more than anything. Keeping him in a sanctuary room and taking the time to slowly open up your space will help him adjust to his new home and family.
