Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Daisy!
A charming nine-year-old American Bulldog Mix from Charlotte, NC (but will be traveling to the Oklahoma City area, March 7th), whose heart is as big as her love for her humans. With her soft white coat speckled with faint black spots, Daisy is a stunning blend of beauty and loyalty, always ready to be by your side as the ultimate companion!
Daisy’s favorite pastime? Chasing after her beloved “waggle ball”—a green, hard little treasure that makes fun noises when she bats it around. She knows exactly what you mean when you say, “Go get your ball!” and will happily trot off to fetch it. She’s also got a solid handle on commands like "sit," "stay," and "down," especially when there’s a treat involved. Mention the word "snack," and she’ll head straight to her favorite snack spot, ready for her reward!
This sweet girl is great on leash walks, enjoys meeting new people, and is crate trained and house-trained, making her a breeze to have around. While Daisy is neutral with other dogs and prefers her space during mealtime, she would thrive in a home with either a smaller dog or as your one-and-only furry friend. Cats? She hasn’t had much experience with them, so it’s still a mystery how she'd react.
Daisy’s heart truly shines when she’s close to her family. She’s a devoted cuddle buddy, especially protective of her favorite humans. Scratch around her ears or neck, and you’ll hear her adorable little “talking”—a low, happy growl that’s her way of saying, “I love this!” She’s also a natural protector, giving a few barks to alert you of strangers, but once someone is welcomed inside, she quickly settles down, usually within 10-15 minutes.
Thunderstorms and fireworks can make her a bit anxious, but with a comforting hand and a cozy spot, she’ll manage just fine. Daisy is up-to-date on her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and ready to find a new loving home where she can be the loyal companion she’s meant to be.
Could Daisy be the perfect addition to your family? She’s ready to bring joy, loyalty, and a wagging tail to her new home. Reach out at adopt@joyfulpets.com to meet this wonderful girl!
