I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Shirley Temple, and I am a sweet kitty! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself.
What My Foster Says About Me: Shirley Temple is a pretty tortie girl with a big personality. I have taught her how to high five, and she has become quite the food gremlin and is interested in anything I eat. She is a huge fan of being neighborhood watch - if she hears people talking outside, a siren, etc., she is the first to the window to observe and regulate. :) She also feels the need to check any cups around the house and stick her head in to get the water out. :) She likes to open cabinets and check out what's in them. She is not much of a lapcat but does like affection and when she feels cuddly, she will give you back massages. :) I have definitely woken up in the early morning hours to her making biscuits on me. :) She is also a big fan of climbing, so she will definitely want lots of vertical space in her new home :) And it is not unheard of for her to jump on my back when I bend over. :) Shirley Temple is a quirky, adventurous, and fun girl who can't wait to meet you!

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
