Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Note: Currently, Gongjoo is in Korea, but we are looking for her forever home in Toronto. Her flight from Korea to Toronto has been scheduled for March 18.
Background: Gongjoo was rescued from a city pound in Incheon, Korea, last year. After spending some time at a private shelter, she joined our partner shelter in November 2024, where she has been living peacefully with other dogs ever since.
Personality and Socialization: Gongjoo's name means "princess" in Korean, and it suits her perfectly. We don’t often describe dogs as elegant, but everyone who meets her says the same thing—she carries herself with a gentle, graceful charm.
She is sweet, calm, and easygoing. Gongjoo is friendly with all dogs, big or small, and gets along well with everyone she meets. She is also very affectionate and social, enjoying the company of both people and dogs. Adaptable and confident, she settles into new environments with ease.
Behaviour: Gongjoo is a quiet and well-mannered dog. She rarely barks, is non-destructive, and has shown no signs of separation anxiety. She enjoys relaxing in her bed or finding a cozy corner when she wants to rest.
She is potty trained for outdoor walks but will also use indoor pee pads if needed. Gongjoo is great with vet visits, grooming, baths, and car rides. She loves her walks and enjoys being outdoors, making her a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys daily strolls.
Health and Diet: Gongjoo is in great health—she is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and on monthly parasite prevention. She eats kibble twice a day and has no known allergies.
Ideal Home: Gongjoo would be a great fit for almost anyone. Whether you’re a first-time dog parent, a senior looking for an easygoing companion, or someone wanting a second dog, her calm and loving nature makes her a wonderful match.
Whoever adopts Gongjoo will be incredibly lucky—she truly is a little princess ready to bring love and warmth to her forever home.
