Meet Mello – Your Future Best Friend!

Mello is a 5-month-old bundle of love looking for his forever home! This sweet boy recently made the journey from South Carolina with his three sisters, hoping to find a family who will give him the love, comfort, and adventure he deserves.

Currently in a foster home, Mello has been adjusting beautifully to home life. He’s a social butterfly—great with humans of all ages and wonderful with other dogs. His foster brother, Charlie the Beagle, has been showing him the ropes, especially when it comes to leash walking. He’s still learning, but he’s eager to follow along!

Mello is working on house training and getting the hang of using weewee pads for accidents. He’s also starting to learn basic commands, and with a little patience and consistency, he’s sure to become a well-mannered companion. One of his funniest quirks? He has zero fear of the vacuum or mop—cleaning day won’t phase this pup!

With no food aggression and a heart full of love, Mello is ready to find a family who will continue guiding him as he grows into the loyal, affectionate companion he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a playful, loving pup to join your home, Mello might just be the perfect match!

Expected Size: Medium when fully grown
Great With: People (kids and adults alike!) and other dogs
Training in Progress: Leash walking, house training, and basic commands

Could Mello be the missing piece in your family? Apply today to meet this sweet boy and give him the home he’s been waiting for!

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation.
