Why we adore her: Hazel is such a sweet and gentle dog who is a joy to be around! She is an absolute love! Hazel is cherished by the staff and volunteers and we are totally devoted to her.

Hazel is two years old and weighs 45 pounds. If you want to adopt a medium sized dog, she could be the one!

Hazel is a well mannered companion on daily walks. She especially enjoys your company if you offer her a treat! Once she is done, Hazel will roll around and kick up her legs in total joy - we love watching her have so much fun! She truly lives in the moment and savors each and every day - there's a lesson there for all of us!

Hazel looks forward to daily outings in the fenced yard, where she loves to run and play.

She is a bright dog who takes direction well, wants to please and should do well with training. Hazel will offer you her paw to shake.

As you can see from one of her photos, she loves to be cuddled! We enjoy sitting with Hazel to pet her and enjoy her company.

Hazel has enjoyed meeting some of her fellow shelter companions in play groups. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.

Hazel will be such a devoted companion. She will love being by your side during the day and curling up at your feet at night. Hazel is so very special!
