Meet Mama Candy Cane! This beautiful chocolate girl is looking for a foster in Texas or a foster-to-adoption situation.
She is about one to two years old and weighs about 50 lbs.
We saved Mama Candy Cane in the nick of time on Christmas! On Christmas Eve, she gave birth to eight beautiful puppies in a shelter. She was literally away in a manger with no crib for a bed. Luckily, a wonderful Lucky Lab foster family took the entire family in.
Mama Candy was a wonderful mother to her puppies. They're all posted for adoption, and now it's time for Mama Candy to find a foster home or foster to adoptive home. She needs to be spayed (Lucky Lab will pay for that and work with her foster family to get that done.)
She's dog and people friendly and is still quite young herself and has some pup-like tendencies. We'd recommend a home with adults and or adults/older kids.
