We must have an application to move forward.

BooBoo is a 4 yr old Chihuahua male. He weighs 12#s. He is perky with attitude… he is happy and likes to be in the middle of things. He loves attention and especially loves treats. He learns quickly. He will be great as a companion for a single person or older couple. He is fine with children that are gentle and know how to treat a small dog. He is a little leery of strangers but can be won over in a very short time…especially with treats. BooBoo loves to sleep on my bed under a blanket. I give him his own blanket so that he can be totally covered. When he is in his crate and we give him a blanket he totally burrows under it and is totally happy. He is mostly quiet…could be in an apartment. He doesn’t have separation anxiety. We are working on the house training.

This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period."

After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying.

Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.

All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.

HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters.
