Levi is a sparkly-eyed bundle of exuberance looking for a family who can match his enthusiasm! His size is the only little thing about him—Levi lives large! He has boundless energy and is hugely affectionate, with a voice meant to carry across the rainforest canopy. His screaming has decreased in his foster home, we are happy to report, with toys and activities to keep him busy. And who could resist this beautiful orange creature yelling "Hey bay-beee!" in his Grover voice? He also says "What's UP?" and it's adorable. At a little over a year old, Levi is just starting to come into maturity; and like any confused teenager, he can be a little extra with the ladies. He can't help it—he just really wants to kiss and nibble on your face! But he is learning to respect boundaries and is not offended when you say, "That's enough now, buddy," and gently place him on his playstand nearby. Levi came to us with clipped wings and has probably been that way for a long time. He very much wants to fly, though, and will need a family who will let him keep his flight feathers intact when they grow back in. He shows great determination and is already able to fly short distances...and he's getting better at it every day! Levi is currently on a healthy diet of pellets with the occasional seed as a treat, but he will need someone to keep encouraging him to try new foods like vegetables. So far, he will nibble but isn't terribly interested. If you are up for a high-energy family member and could keep this lovable cutie engaged and entertained, apply to adopt Levi! Did we mention he is loud? He would not be a good fit for a home with shared walls or individuals with noise sensitivities. Adoption Fee: $250

Whether interested in adopting a particular bird or not, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. From there, our adoption team will process your application (including background check, veterinarian check for all current animals, and a home visit)
We will not ship any of our adoptable birds, and have a 100-mile adoption radius. We do not adopt to breeders. We are not able to adopt birds into homes that use Teflon product or smoke due to toxicity dangers.
