Meet Mary!
Mary is around 2 years old and weighs in around 25 pounds. We believe she is a Boston Terrier mix. While we don't know much about her prior life, we suspect she was kept for breeding and it wasn't a great situation for her. Mary is cautious with new people, but still a very friendly girl toward humans and dogs. We would require Mary to go into a home that has another friendly dog who can help teach her how to be more confident.
Mary is learning about the outdoors, and loves it so far! She's learning how to walk on a leash. She's also house broken! Mary is a very good listener, too.
Her foster family isn't sure if she barks, because they haven't heard it yet! They do say that she is such a sweet girl who deserves the best life with cuddles and love. Could Mary be a good addition to your family? She hopes so, and would love you to apply for her right away!

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.
All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.
We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
