If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
My sweet boy Sydney (he is a boy with girls name) has a mutation called
Polydactyl so he has a lot of toes on each foot and it doesn’t harm him if you keep up with nail trimming. I joined the military 2 years ago and just recently got him back. However he’s an outdoor and indoor cat and is now 12-14 years old and continues to go outside his litter box around the apt. He also went outside his litter box the last few months with his temporary caretaker and I can’t take it anymore. I love this cat to pieces but I can’t keep up with cleaning up each accident every day. I took him to the vet and they prescribed medication to calm him and it seemed to do the trick but it’s way too expensive for how much they give. He is good with dogs, cats-ish, humans and he’s very cuddly but he’s very skiddish so fast movements, loud noises, jumping or walking too fast in his direction will scare him, and cause him to run away. He will come out of hiding almost immediately aftwards.
