My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Monticello, MN

Meet Julia! If you are looking for a puppy that loves to play and will make you laugh, this is your pet. She is great with people big and small. She is also great with other dogs and loves to play with them. Her foster family includes a littermate, large resident dog, 10 year old human and human mom and dad. She has met many younger children and been extremely tolerant of them holding and playing with her. She loves to chew on bones, antlers and dog toys. She is a young pup so she is still learning what is appropriate to chew on and what is not, but is easily redirected. She learns quickly and is motivated by praise and treats. She already knows a few commands including: come and sit and go potty. She is practicing walking politely on a leash with lots of positive reinforcement and is learning fast. She will go potty outside when taken every few hours, but is still working on alerting her humans when she needs to go. She is kennel trained and sleeps quietly through the night, only whining when hungry or needing to go outside. She will also relax in her kennel while her humans are away. It will be hard to say goodbye to this sweet, silly and adorable pup, but we will be happy for her to find her forever family so we can make room to help more animals in need.

---------------

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
