My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Wiggles, wags and many exuberant kisses! There's maybe only a tiny bit of beagle, but a WHOLE LOT OF CUTE and Nora is sure to charm you. She's a special case though and will require an adopter willing to meet with Nora's personal trainers. Nora is not a dog to take to a dog park, but we can tell you that she currently attends supervised daycare 5 to 6 days a week with 10 to 15 other dogs all together in a smaller area (see videos below). Her trainer friends understand Nora's body language cues and know she needs to feel safe, especially when she's ready to spend some one-on-one time with a toy. They let her know that she can take that toy to her crate and have all the uninterrupted time she wants. Otherwise she mixes and mingles with the other dogs without problem.  Nora has miles of personality and is definitely a dog who will bring much to your llife. She will also come with considerable training. One other thing we want you to know - when Nora first came into the rescue, we noticed a little opacity in her left eye. We took her to the Veterinary Eye Institute and they confirmed it was a congenital defect which will remain the same. We do think it causes slight vision impairment on that side though... just something to be aware of.  Nora is heartworm negative and is ready for a sleepover. If you are interested in falling in love with her, we would set up a meet and greet with her and her trainers. We will do what it takes to make that happen because Nora is a remarkable dog and we know she will be treasured and adored.
