My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zola is an adventurous girl who has a gentle nature and is ready to explore the world!

Other Pets: Zola prefers canines who respect her space and allow her time to warm up. Per her Doggie Day Out foster: We believe she could fit perfectly into a home with a calm cat friend. During her visit, she showed just how sweet she is, giving a friendly sniff and a soft lick to a cat that approached her.

Doggie Day Out Report:
Bath time might not be her favorite, but that’s just because she wants to be close to you! With a little patience and understanding, Zola will accept grooming and cuddles without issue, leaving you with plenty of fluffy memories.

Smart and eager to please, Zola knows all the classic commands: sit, lay down, stay, and shake. She`s gentle when accepting treats, proving that she’s ready to learn and bond with her forever family. While she may not be the best behaved on a leash just yet, it only means more time to play in the yard, which is one of her favorite pastimes! Zola loves being around children and delights in the simple joys of playing with toys; her bouncy play bows bring laughter and joy to the whole family.

Zola is a little bundle of love and happiness, ready to fill your home with warmth and joy. We had such a wonderful time with her and can`t wait for her to find a forever home where her sweet spirit can shine! If you’re looking for a loving companion, meet Zola!

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process consist of filling out an agreement document that specifies the adopter will have the adopted animal vaccinated for rabies and spayed/neutered as needed, within an appropriate time period. Currently the adoption fee is $50, but $40 of that comes back in the form of a voucher than can be used at local veterinarians for the rabies vaccination and/or spay/neuter procedure.
