Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Goldie! Goldie is almost 7 months old, born in rural South Carolina .She had been living outside in a pen with her seven sisters and mother, unvetted but loved; we stepped in and she is now in a loving foster and ready to find a family! Goldie is a very sweet girl who wants to give and get love, she gives lots of kisses and will snuggle with you in your lap to watch your favorite TV show. She is a pretty girl with soft chestnut brown fur and white patches. Her current weight is 45 lbs and she is fairly lean. She is spayed, has all vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and she will be microchipped soon. She is very good with her foster family’s two male dogs. She is the slightest bit timid meeting new people. After a couple of minutes she warms right up and is your new best friend. She met a couple of tween/teens recently and with some coaxing and some treats, she was in their laps within five minutes! Goldie sleeps through the night in her crate beside the bed. She is a fairly low energy dog. She likes a couple of walks a day (improving on the leash), to hang in the yard, and to play with her toys. She doesn’t fuss when she is crated when left for a couple of hours. When watched on the camera, she sleeps most of the time. Goldie is very smart. She picked up on using the doggie door and will either ring the bell or, if the door is closed, she will give a few scratches to go outside. She is housebroken and crate trained, not a big barker even when she sees squirrels! She watches them up in the trees, but has not chased any within the fence. She saw a cat while we were on a walk and did not charge it or bark at it. Goldie would make a great companion for most families. She is an easy pup and would be good as an only pet since she loves attention, or with a fur sibling to play with. Goldie is located in Myrtle Beach, SC approved application, home visit, and adoption donation of $250 required.
