Cindy is a sweet, loving, pretty kitty. She loves belly rubs and will be rolling side to side as she’s getting them. She will come to you for chin and head rubs. Her nighttime routine consists of her sleeping on foster mom's legs, or right up against them. She especially enjoys when it is time to change the sheets on the bed. When the dirty sheets are placed on floor, she will go and chase her tail specifically on top of them. She's super fun and funny! She likes to chase her tail in circles and will let you know she wants something with a soft meow.
Cindy was found at a Taco truck stand late one Friday night. She was being so friendly that we immediately scooped her up and rescued her. Her taco days were over! After her arrival at her fosters home, it was noticed that she didn’t have many teeth. In fact, she ONLY has 6 teeth!!! Because of this, she sometimes likes her dry food with some water in it. She loves her wet food and has her routine going. She will let you know when it is morning wet food time, as well as evening wet food time. She is very human friendly. She gets along great with the resident cats and does not mind dogs of any size.
Cindy occasionally has mild seasonal allergies, that is easily treated. This sweetheart has a lot of love to give. Are you ready for your forever Cindy? Apply today to meet her in purrson. It may be love at first sight!

More about this rescue
Animal Justice League (AJL) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt dog and cat rescue organization with a focus on the Oak Forest and Garden Oaks neighborhoods of Houston, TX. AJL was formed on January 27, 2015, but really, the work began long before then!
In a neighborhood that often serves as a dumping ground for unwanted animals, in a city that is overridden with homeless pets, and shelters that are at capacity, we saw a need and knew it was time to make a difference.
We rescue dogs off of the brutal streets of Houston, help care for those that are no longer wanted or cared for by their previous owners, and are registered to pull dogs and cats from the city, county, and nearby shelters. We also help reduce the community cat and kitten population through a robust TNR (trap, neuter, return) program.
Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through rescue, education, and outreach. Help us make our mission a reality!
