My story

Lyra, moo-cow kitten with pretty yellow eyes. She is a very sweet girl and LOVES being pet & scratched BUT is still very shy and not yet fully trusting. She was very close with her sister Luna who was recently adopted so would love to go to a home with another friendly kitty who can continue to help her feel safe and gain confindence.

Lyra is a good kitten with no poor habits. She uses her litter, doesn't scratch or meow. She will need a quiet home with a lot of love to help build her trust and confidence. However, she loves other kitties and once she relaxes purrs like a motor when being pet.

Lyra is about 6 months old and healthy. She is spayed and microchipped, tested fiv-/felv-, is up to date on vaccines and is ready for the right home where she can continue to thrive and come out of her shell!. Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.

We hold Saturday adoption events at Unleashed by Petco in Park Slope and Petsmart on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn (check our website and Facebook page for more information) and have cats at Bushy Tails pet store in Bushwick and Petsmart.
