Meet Beau, a very handsome 11 year old, 19 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Austin, TX. Beau is a courtesy Listing. Only Texas applicants will be considered.
United Yorkie Rescue is so excited to be able to find this adorable lovable boy his forever home.
Beau was with his owner until she recently had become ill and couldn't care for him any longer. He is a very lucky guy because he has been very well cared for all his life and is a healthy hearty boy. He really misses his life of snuggles, walks, and of course being the only baby. He loves all humans and spent time with baby cousins who loved to squeeze him and give him hugs. It's only been a couple of weeks since he has been with the family who is caring for him until he finds the perfect home with a retired couple, or senior adult who can dote on him, relax on the sofa and get as close as he can.
The best family for him would be the only dog; he likes other dogs but at his current home where he does fine most of the time, on occasion he will let them know he has been the only baby. Beau is great on walks when he sees other dogs, just doesn't care for them to take his place on the sofa (lol)
With the change happening so quickly Beau has separation anxiety when he isn't near his human and will show you that he doesn't like being left alone when you leave.
We know that there is a family waiting for a baby like Beau who has experienced this with their other babies and can't wait to show him that he is loved and can live his happiest life with a lot of love and attention. In no time he will fit into his new family and be the love of their life.
Beau is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, and heartworm negative. He is due for a dental and it was recently noted that he has a slight heart murmur but hasn't affected his health.
