Precious is a 10-month-old spayed female Shepherd mix. She is very energetic and loves to play. Precious is housebroken and enjoys spending time with her family. She gets along well with other dogs but tends to roughhouse, which can be too much for smaller dogs.
She knows some basic commands but has developed a habit of jumping up, not realizing her weight and size. Currently weighing 57 pounds, Precious often uses her strength to guide the direction of her walks. She is kennel trained but requires a very large fenced yard to play in, as she has a high prey drive and should not be around cats, as she loves to chase them!

We are dog and cat lovers who want to help decrease the number of healthy pets being euthanized. We do this through adopting pets to caring homes and by spaying and neutering every pet before it is adopted out. We operate a Thrift store named Critters, which is volunteer run with all money brought goes to support our "No Kill" rescue. Critters is located on the same property as our shelter. We take in homeless animals because they are in need and are unable to help themselves.
