Hope... She was found by a kind stranger in Newark, who made sure she had food and shelter until she could get into a rescue. This kind stranger had so much hope for this cat, hope that she would find a rescue to get out of the cold, and hope that she would find a forever home someday soon. Hope tested positive for Feline Leukemia. She can live with dogs or other cats who are FeLV+ only -- it is contagious to other cats. She is beyond friendly, and just wants to be loved, and she is estimated to be about 6 months old. Her adoption fee is a donation of your choice; we just want her to know love and to live in a real home during her lifetime.
All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized.

Free transport is regularly available to Wayne/Holmes County areas! We do have the ability to fly a cat or pair of kittens via Southwest's SWATT program to any location served by Southwest Airlines. It isn't free but has been a great way to transport animals in a timely manner.
