My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If Monica's adorable ears, puppy dog eyes, and adorable personality don't get you feeling puppy fever, snuggling her fluffy, ADORABLE self will! My goodness, do puppies get ANY cuter than her? She has the chunkiest, fluffiest little face, and with her constant puppy loving, I can't get enough of her! At about 3 months old, weighing around 8 pounds, she's growing wonderfully, one day, she might grow into her fluff, but I DOUBT it! Monica's favorite activity aside from puppy snuggles is definitely chasing after stuffed toys, and romping with the other pups, or playing with anyone willing! I can't get enough of her! Monica has already been hard at work on her crate-training, as well as socialization! We know she will thrive in most loving homes that are prepared for a puppy, and continuing all the fun that socializing is!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
