Carolina Reaper is a 2-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on February 7, 2025 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Morris Loop Road in Marietta Ohio a few days earlier. Carolina was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped.
This beautiful boy has a gray tabby short smooth coat with a patch of white on his chest, white paws, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with pale green eyes, a splash of white on his muzzle, and long white whiskers.
Carolina Reaper was understandably very nervous for the first few days after finding himself in a small cage in an unfamiliar place. Our compassionate HSOV kennel techs gave him a little time to settle in while gaining his trust and also letting him know that they loved him unconditionally. Carolina still enjoys the comfort/security of a plush/covered bed and is often seen snuggled inside his 'safe haven'.
Carolina Reaper was given vaccinations on February 16, 2025. He weighs 7.8 lbs.
Since he was not reclaimed, we will have Carolina Reaper neutered and find him a great home.
