All About Me

Hi, I’m Malang! I’m a 7-month-old Jindo-Shepherd mix, weighing 13kg. I was rescued along with my siblings when we were just three months old, and now I’m looking for a loving home where I can feel safe and grow into my best self. I may start off a little shy, but once I warm up, I’m incredibly sweet and gentle.

My Personality

I can be a little reserved at first, but if you offer me a treat, I’ll happily take it and start to feel comfortable around you. It might take me a little time before I allow petting, but once I trust you, I’ll even roll over to show you my belly. I’m soft-natured and very gentle—I take food delicately from hands and never push or demand attention.

How I Get Along with Other Dogs

I’m polite and friendly with dogs my size, and I like to greet them calmly. I don’t mind other dogs, but I prefer ones with lower energy. High-energy dogs who run up to me too quickly can make me a little nervous, so I appreciate gentle introductions. If another dog tries to pick a fight, I just walk away—I’m not interested in any drama! I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react to them.

My Energy Level

I have a balanced energy level. I enjoy outdoor activities, but I don’t need constant excitement. After a good walk or play session, I’m happy to rest and relax. I’m still learning leash manners, and while I might pull a little at first, I usually follow my human’s lead.

My Good Habits

I don’t guard my food or toys, whether from people or other dogs. I’m naturally quiet and rarely bark, so I won’t be a noisy presence in your home. I also settle down well in a kennel when needed. I’m potty-trained and can use both indoor pads and outdoor spaces for bathroom breaks, making me adaptable to different home setups.

What I’m Looking for in a Home

I’d love a patient and gentle family who will give me time to settle in and build trust. I bond deeply with people once I feel safe, and I’ll be the most loyal and loving companion. If there’s another dog in the home, I’d prefer one with a calm and steady personality rather than an overly energetic playmate.

Special Message

I’m still learning to be fully confident in new situations, so I need a home that understands my gentle nature and will help me grow at my own pace. I’m incredibly sweet, well-mannered, and easy to care for—I just need someone who will give me the love and patience to truly shine. If you’re looking for a calm, loving, and gentle companion, I might be the perfect dog for you. I can’t wait to find my forever home!
