Meet Willow, a gentle 2.5-year-old Great Pyrenees weighing in at about 86 pounds, who’s ready to steal your heart! Fully microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventions, Willow is a loving girl with a playful spirit.
She adores chasing squirrels and birds, and while she loves a game of fetch, she might just decide to keep the ball for herself! Soft and affectionate, she delights in hugs and kisses from her humans. Although she gets a bit nervous around the iRobot and fireworks—often running inside to hide—she’s a brave and resilient girl at heart.
Willow has been thriving in a lively foster home with her Golden Retriever brothers, and she’s very protective of her 4-year-old human sister while remaining curious about her 1-year-old sister. House trained and crate trained, Willow will let you know when she needs to go outside with a gentle bark.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted.
So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
