Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lanna!
Lanna-banana is our beautiful young hound, lab mix girly! She recently arrived to our facility when her owner could no longer care for her and she's been a little overwhelmed so we're still getting to know her. One thing we do know is Lanna is smart as she picks things up quickly and she loves to use her hound nose to find the best sniffs! She definitely seems to know sit, how to walk on a leash, and rides well in the car. Understandably, Lanna is very shy when meeting new humans but with a little bit of patience and lots of treats, she eventually warms up and becomes a huge cuddle bug that will greet you will excited wiggles and hugs! Once Lanna settles into the environment, her fun-loving puppy side comes out where she tosses her toys around, defeats the evil squeakers, and then has mini zoomies! We're sure that with a little extra TLC and with a lot of extra treats, Lanna's confidence will grow and she'll be an amazing dog! So stop in today to see if Lanna is the perfect fit for your HAPpily ever after!
In the meantime, you are welcome to submit an adoption questionnaire if interested in adoption! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog, but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
