My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scarecrow is a handsome 2-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on February 4, 2025 along with his companion (Cowardly Lion) after they were found on Gun Club Road in the Lowell Ohio area.

Scarecrow has a brown tabby short smooth coat with a triangular white patch on his chest, white paws, a long ringed tail, and an adorable chubby face with pale green/gold eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.

This big guy was given vaccinations, flea treatment, and Pyrantel wormer on February 4, 2025. He weighed 12.1 lbs that day.

These photos of Scarecrow were taken on February 6th. He was quite content to continue his leisurely siesta and had the appearance of a monarch surveying his kingdom (smile).

We've learned that Scarecrow enjoys attention from his people friends but he does NOT tolerate other cats in his friendship circle.

Scarecrow gives the sweetest "kitty kisses" (smile).

Since Scarecrow was not reclaimed, we will have him neutered and find him an appropriate home where he would not have contact with other felines.
