My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*This is a courtesy listing.*

Meet Max!

Max is an energetic and sweet 11-year-old dog who’s ready to find his forever home! Max is full of personality and loves to play, especially when you act like you're going to grab him—he’ll run circles around you in excitement! He has a fun and spirited nature that will keep you entertained.

Max has lived with cats in the past and wasn’t particularly interested in them. However, he was attacked by a larger dog in the past, which resulted in him becoming fearful/aggressive towards larger dogs. Max does get along well with his current Chihuahua companion. Ideally, Max should be the only dog in the home or have a calm, small companion to avoid any conflict.

Max is perfectly content being left in his crate when home alone, and he has shown that he can be a happy, low-maintenance pup in a safe environment. His current family is heartbroken to have to rehome him, as they feel he’s not in a safe situation with their larger dogs, and they just want what’s best for him.

If you’re looking for a cute, fun-loving companion who will bring joy to your life, Max might be the perfect fit. He deserves a loving home where he can feel safe, secure, and happy. Could that be with you?
