Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It’s Nora’s 13th birthday—and she’s waiting for someone to celebrate with. She’s spent an entire year at Scruffy Paws and and despite her beauty, charm, and larger-than-life personality, she’s still waiting for the right person to come along. And we just don’t get it. Nora is a beautiful, plus-size dilute tortie with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s lived a full life, survived heartbreak, healed from illness, and now all she wants is a soft bed, a sunny window, and someone to love her for exactly who she is.
Senior cats like Nora are so often overlooked—and it’s heartbreaking, because they have so much love left to give. Nora is a chatty, confident queen who knows what she wants (mostly food, head scratches, and admiration). She’ll rub against your legs, chirp to say hello, and stand on her back feet to greet you. She’s affectionate in that classic tortie way: loving, loyal, and full of just the right amount of sass. And let’s be honest—her curves only make her more perfect.
Nora needs to be the only cat in the home and would do best with adults or older kids who respect her need for space when she’s done being adored. But make no mistake: she does want love, and lots of it. She just wants it on her own terms—don’t we all?
This girl has waited long enough. If you believe senior cats deserve comfort, companionship, and a second chance, Nora is waiting. Let’s make this her last birthday in a shelter—and her first one truly at home. 🐾💕
Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home.
