My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Lincoln!
I’m a 3-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier, and while I might seem a little nervous in my kennel, once I’m out, I’ll show you just how sweet and awesome I am! 😊 I absolutely love attention, head scratches, and belly rubs – they’re my favorite! 💖 I’m a good boy who loves to sit nicely for treats, and I promise I’ve got plenty of love to give.

I’m looking for my furrever home where I can feel safe and get all the cuddles and care I deserve. If you’re ready for a sweet companion who will always make you smile, I could be the one for you!

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
