My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome guy is Pablo. He came into the NLOL family a couple months ago and is in need of a new foster (or furever) home ASAP. Pablo is thought to be a boxer mix who’s just over a year old and around 40lbs.

He was found on the streets of Texas and brought into the shelter where he was listed as at risk just before coming to us. He’s a happy playful boy but he is young and higher energy so he will benefit greatly from exercise, a consistent routine, and basic manner training. He’s expected to be good with all humans and dogs but Cats are unknown. Due to his age and energy level supervision with young children will be required as he may knock them over with excitement. Pablo was recently neutered and is working through having some accidents but consistency and exercise (both for the body and mind ) should help with this. He’s also crate trained and even enjoys going in on his own to chew on his toys.

If interested in one of our great dogs, please email us for an application. Once the application is returned and processed, we set up private meet and greets with approved adopters. Our adoption fee is generally $200.

New Leash on Life Dog Rescue is a foster based dog rescue that takes in dogs from local owner surrenders as well as rescues dogs from high kill shelters in other states. We also work with local shelters when they have a dog who is just not doing well in a shelter environment. We are an all breed rescue and we have dogs of all shapes and sizes. We rescue dogs who are need medical attention as well as those who are healthy and just looking for a great family.
