Tootsie is a fun, sweet and energetic pup with a heart full of affection 🫶🏽 and a playful spirit! A lil nervous at first meeting, Tootsie became a cuddle pup once she learned she could trust us. She loves running around the backyard with our dogs and attacking (tearing apart) plushie toys 🧸 or laying on your legs or tucked by your side while you’re relaxing on the couch.
Tootsie seemed already doggy door trained when she came to stay with us with no accidents on the floors; but she appears to have never been crate trained, so we’re still working on that and she sometimes has accidents in it when we’re away from the house during the day.
We think she’s younger than two because of her puppy behaviors, especially chewing anything she can reach. Her curiosity and jump game are so strong, she can reach dinning room tables and kitchen counters to grab whatever catches her eye. But with some more supervision and training, we think she’ll learn what’s appropriate to play with and easily break that habit.
Tootsie plays well with our two small pups and though we haven’t observed her around small children too much, she was friendly to all at the Puppy Love event we recently attended at Silverado Ranch Park. She is a super loving, playful girl that will brighten anyone’s day. Tootsie is ready to find her fur-ever home 🏡
