Foster/Home Needed – Long Island, NY area

Meet Monk. He is a 14yr old male, purebred Maine Coon cat. This older gentleman needs a new home because his mom sadly passed away. He's sweet but a little shy and skittish. Monk is a loner, an "old soul", preferring
his own company. He gladly tolerates the other cats he lives with but doesn’t necessarily doesn't engage with them. Monk is neutered, chipped and UTD on all vaccinations.

Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), Inc., is a 501(c)(3) not for profit, all volunteer NYS corporation which has been operating on Long Island for 40 years. We are working to create a better welfare system for all the animals in our communities. Over the years, we created, and continue to create, a number of valuable programs which serve to promote our mission to create respect for all animals, to educate individuals about animals, to help people keep their animals, and to provide assistance with the control of the animal population on Long Island.
