My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coco Bean was living with some homeless people on private property. When the police came, the people ran off taking their other dog but leaving Coco Bean. She tried running after them but was ultimately left behind and they never came back for her. Coco Bean may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she does, her sweet and loving personality shines through. She absolutley loves having other dogs around. She loves to run, and she loves squeaky toys and balls. Hotdogs are a favorite treat of hers as well. Coco Bean really is a spunky, fun-loving pup who is leashed trained, rides great in a car, loves playing with other dogs and is very smart. Coco Bean would do prefer a home where there is at least one other dog. She would be fine with older kids who have been around dogs before. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Coco Bean’s journey started with hardship, but she’s ready to leave her past behind and find a loving forever home. Coco Bean is about 8 months old and 28 pounds.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Coco Bean's adoption fee is $425. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, microchipping and vetting.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
