My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buster is a really fun little terrier cross who weighs around 15 lbs and is about 3 years old.

He’s happy, affectionate, sensitive, extremely clever and very trainable. He listens well and picks up on instructions easily. He takes treats very gently.

Buster absolutely LOVES to chase the ball, and will bring it back and drop it for another throw, every time.

Buster walks well on leash, is fine with dogs of all sizes, and although not tested, we feel he could easily share his home with a cat.

He’s house trained, crate trained, and is great in the car. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

He’s a very snuggly dog, who looks forward to spending time out at the park, but is calm and quiet in the house, barking only to alert when someone is at the door.

Buster was pulled from a high kill shelter in California and is thriving at his foster home in Delta, BC currently sharing space with 3 large dogs.

If you are looking to add an affectionate, fun member to your household, Buster may be the dog for you.

More about this rescue

The One Dog Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer and foster based organization located in North Vancouver. We are dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs find a new home. We focus on dogs locally that have lost their home due to illness or death and dogs at immediate risk of being put down at high kill shelters. Any potential fosters or adopters are fully screened through vet, reference and home checks. We work to address the overpopulation problem and to promote responsible dog ownership.

Our dogs are placed with loving and dedicated foster parents who open their homes to these animals in need. Foster families also help provide the care the dogs require until they can be matched with adoptive, permanent homes.
