My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Luna! 🌙

Luna is a stunning Russian Blue mix, just under a year old, with soft, silvery fur and the most soulful eyes. This delicate girl is still learning to trust the world and will need a quiet, patient home where she can blossom at her own pace.

Luna is naturally shy and a bit skittish, but with gentle care and time, she’s beginning to show her sweet and curious side. She enjoys watching the world from a cozy hiding spot and loves the occasional feather toy when she feels safe enough to play. With a little patience, Luna will reward you with slow blinks, soft purrs, and a lifetime of love.

She would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home with an adopter who understands that building trust takes time. A feline friend with a gentle personality could also help her feel more secure.

Luna is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready for a loving, understanding home where she can truly feel safe. Could you be the special person she’s waiting for?

If you would like to find out more about adopting this kitty, please call Cari at 540-226-0050 or email info@shadowcatadvocates.org.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cat Advocates exists to provide assistance to all the abandoned and forgotten cats and kittens that live all around us. We are a 501c3 non-profit and all donations to our organization are deductible to the extent allowed by IRS laws. We have no office expenses, no salaries, and our volunteers all work for FREE and pay their own expenses. Without volunteers, our mission would be meaningless. We are looking for additional volunteers. Are you willing to foster a cat for a short period, become a caretaker, help trap, or assist in one of our fundraising events? Shoot us an email as any help you can offer will be met with a huge THANK YOU!
