All About Me

Winkle is a three-year-old male Mini Jindo mix, weighing 8kg. He is scheduled to be neutered on February 14 and has completed all vaccinations. He was found wandering near the Masan city pound after being abandoned and injured. He was taken to the pound, where he was at risk of euthanasia before being rescued. Winkle has also completed heartworm treatment in 2024 and is now in good health, ready for his forever home.

Personality and Social Skills

Winkle is a friendly and affectionate dog who quickly warms up to new people. He enjoys attention, happily leans in for pets, and can be picked up without issue. He will even show his belly to strangers, demonstrating his trust and ease around people. While he has not had experience with young children, he adapts quickly and is likely to do well with gentle introductions. He is also social with other dogs and enjoys meeting and playing with them. His behavior around cats is unknown, as he has not been tested.

Energy and Activities

Winkle has a moderate energy level. He enjoys outdoor activities but settles down calmly after exercise. He loves going on walks and is well-mannered on a leash, following his handler without excessive pulling.

Training and Habits

Winkle is well-behaved in various settings. He is not possessive over food and does not guard meals from people or other dogs. He has experience with both indoor and outdoor potty training, making him adaptable to different living environments. He is also comfortable in a kennel and remains calm when inside. Winkle can be vocal when he wants something and may bark to express his needs. However, he is generally a well-adjusted and manageable companion.

Ideal Home

Winkle would do well in a home where he receives love, structure, and regular exercise. He has experience living with people and is naturally affectionate, making him an excellent companion. He enjoys walks, playtime, and human interaction. His future family should be prepared to support his continued socialization and confidence-building.

Special Notes

Winkle is highly adaptable and quickly adjusts to new environments. He loves people and enjoys affection. While he is confident in most situations, he may become startled by unexpected events, so patience and reassurance will help him thrive. Winkle is looking for a loving home where he can continue to enjoy companionship, exercise, and affection. If you are looking for a friendly and devoted dog, he may be the perfect match for you.
