My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful Siberian Husky is as healthy, sweet and loving as she is pretty. She has been loved and cherished her whole life, but her dear owner has sadly passed away leaving Mocha in need of another wonderful home. Being a mature girl, she's gentle and easy going, needs nothing in the way of vet care or training, gets along with everyone, and just wants to be loved and have a warm sofa to snuggle on. PLEASE NOTE - Mocha is a referral dog, meaning she's being fostered in a home out of our area. If you're interested in her, we'll refer you to her caregiver in Apple Valley, CA. Please be prepared to go to Apple Valley to meet her!

Their adoption process

1.

Interview

Inquiries are replied to by email explaining details about the pet and our protocols. If the applicant replies positively, we call by phone.

2.

Meet the Pet

After an extensive phone interview, arrangements can be made for the family to come and meet us and the pet

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

If all goes well, contract is signed, fee is paid, and the family goes home with their pet. Full lifelong support is then available to them

Additional adoption info

We follow raw feeding and holistic protocols and require those who come to us for a pet to do the same. We offer lifetime support, and take any pet back returning adopt fees should a situation arise where the animal is no longer able to stay in the home.

Go meet their pets

We don't display rescue dogs to the public. Instead we interview families interested in a particular dog with a view to matching that dog with the best possible candidate.

More about this rescue

As the Northern CA chapter for Heartbandits AED rescue, we are available to help American Ekimo Dogs and other small dogs, puppies, and small pregnant dogs in need. Our protocols include raw feeding and holistic care which we encourage everyone we place a dog with to continue in the interest of optimal health and longevity.
