Sassafrass, AKA Ms. Sassy, is a polite young tortie with genteel opinions she enjoys freely sharing. One of her favorite opinions is the desirability of a regular daily distribution of treats. Ms. Sassy enjoys sitting next to you while you're reading, but also a nice closet snooze on Grandma's quilt in the closet. Her ability to disappear and reappear gave her an early nickname of Houdini. She enjoys being petted but likes her 4 feet on the floor. With her sisters, she loves watching sports events on TV. She loves toys and could happily play all day with a feather tease. Not fond of dogs, she prefers to hide if they appear. She does, however, love her sisters Sadie and SusieCue because their presence helps her feel brave. A shy girl, she would do great adopted with one or both of her sisters., or perhaps her brother, Sam. She will do best in a quiet, well ordered home, with cat-savvy humans who will appreciate her finer qualities. Sassy and her family are becoming available for placement because their elderly parent is no longer able to care for them Like to meet her or one of her siblings? We require a signed application that is reviewed by our volunteers.
Adopter must agree that the pet will be Inside Only and must have permission from their landlord if they are renting.
Before adoption all of our pets are thoroughly examined by one of our vets. They have received a rabies shot, series of vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV and are always spayed or neutered.

We are a small and devoted group of volunteers who started this organization in 2010. Our goal is to find homes for as many cats and kittens as we are physically and financially able to do. We have no facility and all of our pets are cared for in loving foster homes. We do as much as we can with the funds from adoption fees, donations and contributions from all of our volunteers.
