Sam H is a handsome 3 year old black & white Tuxedo DSH gentleman in search of a new Forever Home because his elderly Human is no longer able to care for him or his three younger sisters. An elegant, confident guy, he loves sitting in the window, looking out at the world and judging his neighbors. He loves his canned food and believes he is too mature to play with toys, but he has, on occasion, been caught batting a dingle ball around with great aconcentration. Of course, he would quickly deny that was what he was doing. He loves cuddling with his person in the evenings, wrapping his arms around her neck and staring deeply into her eyes. He has been around dogs and is not dog-aggressive, although he has mastered a superior stare into their eyes from across the room, in case they might possibly be considering a closer approach. Sam H. has some outside experience, and although neutered, isn't above defending himself from another cat should that become necessary. However, he will do best as an inside kitty companion for a lonely older person who is seeking a polite companion-protector. He is healthy, current on his shots, and will make some lucky person an excellent companion. And, he says that, if you like, he'd be happy to bring along one (or more) of his 3 beautiful sisters who also are seeking new opportunities. We require a signed application that is reviewed by our volunteers.
Adopter must agree that the pet will be Inside Only and must have permission from their landlord if they are renting.
Before adoption all of our pets are thoroughly examined by one of our vets. They have received a rabies shot, series of vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV and are always spayed or neutered.

We are a small and devoted group of volunteers who started this organization in 2010. Our goal is to find homes for as many cats and kittens as we are physically and financially able to do. We have no facility and all of our pets are cared for in loving foster homes. We do as much as we can with the funds from adoption fees, donations and contributions from all of our volunteers.
