My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rogue (A137440) is a 3-year-old husky mix who weighed nearly 50 lbs at intake!

02/08/25 This handsome fellow is Rogue! Rogue arrived at the shelter via the after hours emergency kennels, and his previous owner neglected to leave their contact information, requiring us to hold him for a 3-business day stray hold. Unfortunately, this means Rogue has had to stay at the shelter longer than necessary before he could be made available for adoption. However, it also means we have gotten to know this goofy boy a little better. His previous owner also neglected to fill out much information on him. We know that he is a sled dog and that he was considered too slow for the team he was previously on and that he ran in a team dog position. We have learned that he likes to talk, and he demands pets! Rogue will woo-woo at you and boop you with his snoot if you are not petting him. He does not seem to have any ill will toward his canine neighbors in our dog yard. He politely let them sniff him from afar before offering his rump for closer inspection when he first arrived. We do not know how Rogue feels about cats or other animals, so please use caution if planning to introduce him to any. We also do not know Rogue's history with being an indoor dog. He may need some help in getting use to potty training and couch life. If you are interested in meeting this outgoing, sweet boy, please give us a call!March 12, 2025, 7:57 pm
