Welcome Gracie to CCPAL Foster Program. Gracie is 1.5 years of age and she is a Dachshund dog. She is what we call a high mixed dog. She weighs 11 pounds. She is the momma dog for the pups we are now finding homes for. She is good on a leash, good in a car and potty trained. She is very sweet and as most Dachshunds, she is loyal and a good lap dog. She is getting her vaccines here at the Rescue and will be spayed and ready for her forever home. She would be fine in a home with children. We always like the children to be 10 or older with small dogs. She would need a fenced yard if let outside off leash. She would be fine with a smaller yard. She won’t need mounds of exercise to be happy. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful adopters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. We don’t adopt to Rhode Island or to adopters from Massachusetts due to the regulations in these states.
