Five is a very handsome, front-paw polydactyl young guy who was found outside on the streets. Five was obviously someone's pet and did not know how to defend himself on the streets and is now FIV+. Five is a great young boy with super long canines, so cute! Five is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready for his forever home.
This kitty has tested positive for FIV, similar to HIV in people. It can not be transmitted through casual contact, sharing food, water, or a litter box. It can not be transmitted to people or other pet species. It is typically only transmitted to other cats via a deep bite wound. FIV positive cats can live long and healthy lives! They do tend to have more dental issues and absolutely must be kept safely indoors at all times.
