My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Brooks, a lovable boy who’s ready to find a home where he’ll be adored just as much as he adores his humans! Brooks loves using his nose to explore the world around him! He’s treat-motivated, so he’s always eager to learn, and he's already making progress with his leash skills and sit command. This sweet boy is also potty trained and gets along well with other dogs! Brooks loves to forage for treats, so he’ll keep you entertained with his clever antics. If you’re looking for a sweet, hardworking pup who will shower you with love and affection, Brooks is the perfect companion!

Go meet their pets

We’re so excited that you’re considering adopting from Nashville Humane Association. We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed every TUE-THUR from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
