Hi, I’m Dove!

I’m a bit of a nervous Nellie, but I promise I’m worth the patience! My family and I came to FDHS when our owner passed away, and while my siblings have all moved on to new homes, I’m still here, taking my sweet time to figure things out. I’m the shy one, no doubt about it.

I’m super sweet with my fellow kitties, and I love curling up with them for naps. I’m not the biggest fan of being picked up, but if you give me some space, I’ll happily come hang out and let you scratch my chin. I’m just a girl looking for a quiet, safe place where I can truly relax and come out of my shell.

If you're patient, kind, and ready to give me time to trust you, I think we’ll get along just fine! I’d thrive in a quieter home where I can go at my own pace and let my true self shine.

Once an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app.
*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
Can take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us.
Animals are not first come, first serve. We work to find the best homes possible for not only the adopters, but our animals.
