Meet Legolas - one half of a dynamic cockatiel duo! This 7-year-old little spitfire enjoys singing, hanging out with his BFF Lumiere, and looking out the window. While he can step up (on his terms), he prefers to ride around on his foster's shoulder and observe household activities from afar. He spends a lot of his day chewing up seagrass mats and popsicle stick toys, so these are a must in his future home! While he will tolerate being handled (to an extent), he is more of a hands-off sort of guy. His body language is very clear and he will let you know when he isn't into something. While he won't be the first to join in on a cuddle session, he demands very little and is great at entertaining himself. For someone looking for a quiet and stoic companion, this guy is it! Adoption fee: $200 for both birds.

We will review your application, and perform a background check, vet check and when applicable, a landlord check.

For most species, a meeting is required. For some species, multiple meetings may be needed or required.

Sign Adoption Contract

Once approved, sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.

Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Whether interested in adopting a particular bird or not, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. From there, our adoption team will process your application (including background check, veterinarian check for all current animals, and a home visit)
We will not ship any of our adoptable birds, and have a 100-mile adoption radius. We do not adopt to breeders. We are not able to adopt birds into homes that use Teflon product or smoke due to toxicity dangers.
